As a Cost Analyst at Renmoney, you will play a crucial role in helping the organization manage its financial performance by analyzing costs and assisting with budgeting processes. Your insights will support strategic decision-making and contribute to improving overall operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Track and analyze departmental expenses to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- Monitor actual spending against budgets and forecasts; report variances to management with supporting insights.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Reconcile expense provisions with supporting documents and ensure timely accrual of costs.
- Support regulatory and audit requirements related to cost accounting and expense tracking.
- Identify inefficiencies in processes and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cost analysis, management accounting, or financial planning (banking or financial services industry preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems or accounting software.
- Solid understanding of banking operations and cost structures.
