Associate Software Engineer - ODM Tester

This role

Associate Software Engineer is responsible for testing the compatibility of our core Lock App to more Android Original Designer Manufacturer (ODM).

• Manual QA testing of PayJoy mobile apps.
• Create test plans and test cases based on product design.
• Closely work with the ODM’s testing & operation team to set up a test environment to reproduce issues during development and manufacture.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot unusual smartphone behavior and performance issues by working directly with ODM’s testing engineers, the PayJoy support team, and Product and Engineering teams.
• Collaborate with engineers and the program manager to maintain the quality of the apps.
• Estimate, prioritize, and plan testing for releases.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, software engineering, or a related field. 
• 4+ years of experience testing Android Applications.
• Experience in using ADB, Shell Commands.
• Experience troubleshooting and reproducing issues with software engineers, ODMs, IDHs
• The ability to multitask, balance priorities, and a strong desire to help people solve problems is essential.
