About the role- As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for integrating compliance with laws, regulations, business principles, standards of conduct, customer agreements and establishing good business practices into all aspects of the organization, establishing and maintaining effective compliance risk management, providing timely advice to the organization on relevant changes in the regulatory and compliance environment
What you will do- Ensure the company’s operations comply with relevant financial regulations, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption (ABAC), Know Your Customer (KYC), sanctions, whistleblowing ("speak up"), and competition laws.
- Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide compliance policies, procedures, and best practices to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to local regulations across countries in Latin America (LatAm).
- Identify and assess potential compliance risks within fintech products, services, and business operations.
- Conduct internal audits of compliance processes and programs to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide expert guidance on regulatory and compliance matters across all levels of the organization.
What you need to succeed- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or legal advisory.
- Strong knowledge of fintech regulations, as well as FATF standards and AML requirements.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.
- Expertise in compliance management frameworks, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
- Experience and knowledge of regulations in Mexico (MX), Peru (PE), and Chile (CL) will be especially valued.
