ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Does (The tasks / responsibilities that the role performs to address requirements in Key Result Areas)

Drives strategy, business direction.and managing overall P&L for the Acquiring business

Operating as the lead point of contact for internal parties for project management

Champions product enhancements and potential merchant expansion while working with cross-functional teams from Mynt to enable consumer-facing units to understand new product launches

Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to partner needs and objectives

Manage tasks and projects assigned from time to time as needed by the business

Liaise between parties and internal teams

Clear grasp of business objectives to drive growth

Analytical thinking and problem solving in both strategic and operational levels

Effective articulation of products/campaigns to both internal partners and the customers

Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving abilities

Proficiency in agile development methodologies and product lifecycle management.

GTM - Develop comprehensive and well-rationalized go-to-market plans for new products

BRC - Work with Product Owners to ensure compliance to business readiness checklist for new builds

Product Operationalization - design, obtain sign off and codify operationally sustainable processes

Launches - Successfully launch new products and features, meeting commercial and time-to-market objectives

Analytics / Insighting - Create high quality internal and external-facing presentation decks that heavily leverage ‘storytelling with data’ techniques

Business Review - Create business planning / business review documents and regularly aligns with merchant partners to review performance and ensure sustainable growth

Contribution to Team Culture - Lead or contribute to initiatives like team building or informal team events intended to promote better team cohesion and promote sense of belonging

QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum requirements in terms of experience and background, skills and competencies for sourcing purposes)

  • Strong background in product development within the FinTech or payments industry

  • Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in an Agile development team

  • Proven track record of launching and managing online or mobile products

  • Cards acquiring, cards issuing, card schemes, payfac experience a distinct advantage

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing multiple stakeholders
