Join Our Team as a Settlement and Reporting Manager !


In this pivotal position, you will ensure the prompt and precise reconciliation of transactions and settlements associated with end-to-end processing as a Card Acquirer. You will maintain operational control over receivables, payables, and merchant funds, providing insightful reporting to the finance department. Leading a dedicated team, you will ensure tasks are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Additionally, you will facilitate the implementation and ongoing monitoring of the organization’s settlement services. Acting as the primary liaison between the business and your team, you will focus on enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:
  • Standardize and automate settlement and reporting processes for the EMEA region.
  • Oversee a team tasked with delivering high-quality services and maintaining effective controls.
  • Ensure coordination and successful delivery of projects in the settlement and reconciliation domains.
  • Assess and improve PayU’s operational efficiency in settlement services.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continual improvement.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of the internal control environment.
  • Ensure processes comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with process owners to drive process enhancements.
  • Work closely with product and PMO departments to facilitate project delivery in the area.
  • Support auditing activities and ensure their successful execution.
  • Execute tasks driven by data analysis.


Who are we looking for?
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in settlement and/or financial sectors.
  • Proven track record in managing and leading teams effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of the settlement environment and payment systems, especially in card acquirer area.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to interpret figures and take action based on insights.
  • Experience in optimizing and shaping processes.
  • Excellent written and spoken Polish and English skills.
  • Proven project management experience with a focus on delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor and grow team members.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a drive to deliver outcomes.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure while managing competing priorities and relationships.
