RESPONSIBILITIES - Accountable for managing project financial performance; coordinating efforts of a variety of functional areas to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget to achieve product plan objectives - Act as a trusted business partner in terms of advising them on the upcoming initiatives with respect to feasibility, decomposition into MVP, release planning, solution options, capacity utilization, etc - Tribe Backlog and Capacity Management: Manage the Ideation and Scoping process closely with Business and Product owners, Solution Designers and Vendor to ensure that business initiatives in pipeline undergo proper feasibility analysis, scoping and release planning having considered business priorities and tribe capacity including any scalability considerations. - Ensure the timely completion of product/project assigned for technological development or enhancement and that the tribe is capable to deliver the current and future technology requirements - Monitor adherence to procedures and controls at each process, such that all relevant functional requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost effective service to customers - Work and collaborate with different teams and stakeholders to monitor, track and report performance across stages of Ideation, Scoping, Development and Delivery against strategic initiatives, prioritization, road-mapping, execution alignment, agreed process and metrics - Work closely with PMO, Practices/Agile coaches for adoption of best practices and aligning the Agile Tribe practices accordingly. - Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to team / peers and support in the achievement of targets - Build capabilities of squad members to ensure squads are self sufficient creating an atmosphere of confidence and trust in the Tribe, and motivate and coach Tribe members to deliver Tribe’s mission. - Allocate resources for projects efficiently in collaboration with Guild Leads & PMO. Identify and highlight resourcing issues and suggest ways to handle/mitigate. - Resolve any Tribe issue amicably and keeping the strategic interest of GCash at priority - Work with the Business Risk Management lead to implement the controls, risk framework and comply with all audit, legal, risk/compliance and regulatory requirements for the responsible product area. - Foster a risk management culture through implementation and demonstration of processes and procedures which identify and mitigate risk - Analyze project performance and recommend changes to achieve goals and proactively identify opportunities for improvement. - Drive innovation and change: champion initiatives that evolve the business’ offerings, approaches and infrastructure in ways that address or capitalize on shifts in the regulatory, competitive and economic landscapes. QUALIFICATIONS - Educational Background – minimum qualification – graduate in any field | preferred – Postgraduate / MBA in project management or related field Years of Work - Minimum 8 years experience in managing complex project and product development - Knowledge in managing agile methodology - Experience working in Agile environment - Experience in managing resources with different skill set for agile delivery methods - Experience working collaboratively with a diverse business and IT teams - Experience in Enterprise Architecture / Solutions Architect or related function, can do product design and analysis. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - Strong analytical, creative problem-solving and strategic planning skills - Has technical proficiency and development background - Experience in financial technology vendor or a large financial institution
