ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify, assess, and prioritize vulnerabilities in the organization's IT systems and infrastructure
- Develop and implement strategies and procedures to mitigate or eliminate vulnerabilities
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of vulnerability management efforts
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure that vulnerabilities are addressed in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate with stakeholders and management to provide updates on vulnerability management efforts and to obtain buy-in for proposed solutionsStay up-to-date with the latest vulnerability management best practices and technologies
- Maintaining and updating company's vulnerability management policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in vulnerability management or a related field
- Strong understanding of vulnerability management best practices and technologies
- Experience with vulnerability scanning and assessment tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with regulatory compliance and risk management frameworks
- Experience with incident response and disaster recovery planning
- CISSP, CISM or other relevant security certification is a plus
- Prior experience working within a financial service organization preferred
- Strong documentation skills
