Develops, prepares, and analyzes financial and operating data while performing various complex accounting duties. Assists with the completion of other department projects. Experience using Workday is preferred.

Pay for this role is based on experience, starting at $48,000/year

As an Accountant I, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Manage daily accounting functions related to supplier invoices and employee expense reimbursement

- Develop and communicate solutions for continuous process improvement within the job function

- Perform calculations, posting of journal entries, analysis, and reporting for accounting transactions in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

- Apply results of research to the Company’s operations and/or specific transactions

- Assist with financial statement review and preparation

- Assist with various accounting projects and communicate results
- Perform research and apply advanced problem solving to reconcile accounts and perform job duties
- Manage expectations through consistent and timely updates
- Work with external organizations and internal departments on project initiatives and various accounting issues


EDUCATION:
4-year degree in Business Administration/Accounting or equivalent experience

EXPERIENCE:
1+ years accounting experience

COMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
1. Understanding of basic accounting concepts
2. Ability to work under and deliver under deadline constraints and manage multiple tasks
3. Ability to work independently with initiative and appropriate supervision
4. Strong analytical and problem solving ability
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills
6. Effectively interact with various divisions and levels of management throughout the company
7. Excellent PC and technology skills including MS Excel & Word
