Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager - Hunter serves as the primary point of contact for acquiring new clients, driving revenue through outbound prospecting, and closing new business deals. This role is essential to PayU’s expansion strategy in Czechia and Slovakia, focusing on generating new sales leads, educating clients on PayU’s payment solutions, and contributing to overall business growth by meeting sales targets.

 

Key Responsibilities:

   •        Generate new business opportunities by identifying and prospecting potential clients in the eCommerce and fintech sectors.

   •        Establish initial contact with prospects through calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings.

   •        Educate prospective clients about PayU’s products and how they can benefit their businesses.

   •        Qualify leads and close new business deals, meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets.

   •        Present PayU’s value proposition and negotiate terms with potential clients.

   •        Provide market feedback and insights to the product and marketing teams to improve sales strategies.

   •        Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities and prospects in the CRM system.

   •        Collaborate with Account Management teams to ensure smooth handover and transition of new clients.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

   •        Bachelor’s degree or proven experience in sales, business development, or a related field.

   •        2 - 3 years as a minimum of experience in outbound sales, prospecting, or new business acquisition.

   •        Experience in the eCommerce, fintech, or payments industry is a plus.

   •        Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

   •        Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive approach to sales.

 

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

   •        Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).

   •        Knowledge of the eCommerce and online payments industry.

   •        Strong ability to manage multiple prospects and prioritize effectively.

   •        Collaborative mindset and ability to work within a team environment.
