About Chapa
Chapa Financial Technologies S.C (https://chapa.co) is an online payment gateway that empowers small businesses and large merchants to accept online or offline payments from their customers via our APIs. The company primarily focuses on securely solving payments-related problems for ambitious businesses and governmental organizations in developing countries, mainly Ethiopia.
Responsibilities:
· Customer Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients to expand our customer base.
· Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
· Product Knowledge: Stay updated on Chapa's suite of products and services to effectively communicate their value to clients.
· Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
· Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt and improve our offerings.
· Client Education: Educate clients on the benefits of online payment solutions and assist them in integrating Chapa's services.
· Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prepare regular reports for management. Trends.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
· Sales Experience: Proven track record of at least 2 years in sales or business development, preferably in the fintech or payment industry.
· Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
· Product Knowledge: Familiarity with online payment gateways and a quick ability to grasp technical details.
· Target-Driven: Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for meeting and exceeding sales targets.
· Market Insight: Understanding the local market and payment landscape is a plus.
· Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving industry and adapt to new technologies and trends.
